Dept. of Clin Neurophysiology is the largest of it’s kind in Denmark, covering the entire Capital Region. We aim for the highest standards of quality and professional care within our field.

Our medical team is formed by a group of dedicated doctors: 1 professor, 14 senior physicians as well as 4 attending physicians. Moreover, we continuously have several trainee doctors. In total, the clinic has approximately 120 employees. The department comprises three main sections located on two campuses:

  • Blegdamsvej: Section for EEG, EP, nerve conduction and EMG, intraoperative monitoring, and examinations of the autonomic nervous system.
  • Glostrup: Section for EEG, EP, nerve conduction and EMG, and ultrasound examinations of peripheral nerves.
  • Glostrup: Danish Center for Sleep Disorders with sleep medicine examinations and outpatient activities.

Additionally, we have satellite clinics at NOH Hillerød and external functions at Herlev-Gentofte Hospital and Hvidovre Hospital.

Annually, HNU performs approximately 16,000 neurophysiological examinations. The clinic receives patients from the entire Capital Region and, in highly specialized functions, from whole Denmark

The clinic's core functions include both basic and specialized examinations in EMG/ENG, EEG, EP, small-fiber evaluation, ultrasound of peripheral nerves, and assessment and treatment of sleep disorders.
