Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of China Harbour Engineering Company's business scope.
- Establishing enduring, positive relationships with both current and potential clients.
- Identifying and researching opportunities in new and existing markets.
- Crafting and delivering persuasive pitches and presentations to prospective clients.
- Engaging with clients to comprehend their requirements and provide problem-solving solutions.
- Applying industry best practices to design and programming tasks.
- Creating comprehensive reports and dashboards that aggregate data from various sources, including Microsoft Dynamics, marketing automation platforms, Google Analytics, and social media platforms, to monitor and enhance digital performance while measuring against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Proficiency in data manipulation, transformation, and analysis.
- Developing compelling, targeted, and localized messages and campaigns (such as videos, customer success stories, demonstrations, whitepapers, presentations, and how-to guides) to energize our marketing initiatives.
- Overseeing marketing activities both within the company and within the marketing department.
- Devising company-aligned marketing strategies in line with corporate objectives.
- Engaging with ministries and potential clients, and following up as necessary.
- Monitoring and reporting on the efficacy of marketing communications.
- Analyzing potential strategic partnerships for company marketing.
Requirements:
- The candidate must have demonstrated experience as a Market Developer or in a similar role.
- Ability to autonomously gather pertinent market information and possess a deep understanding of various governmental departments in Lagos.
- Having existing resources for pursuing new projects in Lagos is a notable advantage.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Diligent approach, with the capacity to take ownership of development tasks and drive them to completion.
- Sound financial and numeracy management abilities.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- A creative and innovative problem-solving mindset.
- Competence in mediation and teamwork.
- Creativity: The ability to conceptualize new systems and approaches to work.
- Capability to perform well under pressure.
